About You
We are looking for organized, analytical, and results-driven students who have a passion for supply chain management, logistics, and procurement. The ideal candidates are eager to learn, can adapt quickly, and are capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desired majors include: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities and Internship Benefits
Over the course of our 10-week internship, you will have the opportunity to:
Work directly with a mentor in your field of study, contributing to supply chain optimization and procurement projects.
Participate in Book Club assignments to build communication and leadership skills.
Collaborate with senior leaders to discuss procurement strategies, logistics operations, and supply chain innovation.
Build a lasting professional network through social events and team-building activities.
Attend "Meet & Greets" with industry leaders to enhance your networking skills.
Assist in vendor negotiations, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Analyze supply chain data, identify areas for improvement, and support cost-saving initiatives.
Deliver a formal presentation on your summer project work, demonstrating your supply chain expertise and problem-solving skills.
The Supply Chain Intern will be supervised by our Director of Procurement.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (Beginning May 27 to August 1).
Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation on or before August 2027.
Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above).
Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills, demonstrated through leadership roles in teams or student organizations.
Experience with supply chain or logistics-related projects, internships, or coursework.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data and supply chain management software.
Relocation
Must be able to relocate to Bakersfield for the entirety of the internship.
Pay Range: $16.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
