A reputable Construction Contracting Firm located in Jupiter Florida is hiring a part-time HR Generalist to join their growing team! As an integral team member you will have the responsibility to implement processes and procedures and the opportunity to build their HR department. The position will start as part-time and will have the ability to grow into a full time position. The ideal candidate will reside in Jupiter or the surrounding areas. Onboarding will take place in office and onsite however, the position will than be remote from your home office.
Responsibilities:
Monitor HR budget and perform payroll duties and distribution.
Conduct employee evaluations.
Assist with employee onboarding procedures.
Update records to accommodate new hires.
Develop employee benefit programs and ideas to motivate employees.
Write reports on HR department activities.
Stay up to date with new HR trends.
Administer compensation and benefit plans
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Required Skills:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office & HRIS systems
Excellent communication and people skills
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area
3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources, ideally in Construction or Real Estate
