This position will work cross functionally with sales, production, warehouses, and customers to support the aggressive business growth strategies for True Temper Sports.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures quality execution of all regular purchasing duties for Hockey/Golf/Marketing/44
Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
Frequent communication with finance to ensure on time payments to vendors
Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders
Frequent report generation to provide timely information to management team
Coordinates with credit department regarding customer/vendor setups
Evaluating supplier performance
Required Skills / Experience:
1-3 years of experience in at least one of the following (sports goods industry strongly preferred):
Demand planning
Inventory management
Customer service
Ability to interact with multiple personalities and coordinate cross-functionally
Highly organized individual who can ensure daily tasks and long-term objectives are accomplished
Strong analytical capabilities
Independent worker, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
