Our client, a leader in advanced propulsion and power systems for aerospace and defense, is seeking an Engineering Technician specializing in PLCs, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality production and R&D facilities.
Responsibilities
Set up, support, and conduct preventative maintenance for production and R&D facilities.
Maintain and enhance manufacturing infrastructure, including aerospace vacuum tanks, machining, welding, brazing operations, and X-ray inspection.
Implement facility changes to enhance and expand operational capabilities as needed.
Support the installation and operation of specific equipment and appliances.
Ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, including OSHA, ISO-9001, fire safety, and security protocols (access and surveillance).
Oversee maintenance of facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility management
Qualifications
Electrical installation and design
PLC programming, controller design and installation for vacuum control systems
Prior experience with vacuum systems (low, High and UHV) systems
Prior experience with general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance.
