We seek a skilled and experienced HVAC Facilities/Shop Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong HVAC or sheet metal distribution background and hands-on facility management experience. Key Responsibilities
Supervise all aspects of the shop, including HVAC and sheet metal fabrication activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity.
Maintain facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and equipment maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
Lead a team of technicians and fabricators, providing guidance and hands-on support when necessary. Ensure all staff adhere to safety and operational protocols.
Coordinate material handling and distribution within the facility, managing inventory for sheet metal, HVAC components, and related supplies.
Ensure all fabrication and repair work is completed to industry standards, maintaining the highest level of quality for all projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HVAC or sheet metal distribution environment, preferably within Southern California.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, fabrication facilities, and general building maintenance.
Demonstrated ability to work hands-on within the facility, supporting and supervising technical staff.
Preference for candidates with a stable and established career history in the Southern California region.
Familiarity with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project is a plus.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience working in or overseeing HVAC or sheet metal fabrication shops.
Familiarity with managing maintenance and repair schedules for HVAC and sheet metal fabrication equipment
