Independently manage multiple concurrent highly technical capital construction projects for a wide variety of external and internal customers in the industrial, aerospace, infrastructure, and commercial spaces
Mechanical, structural, and electrical design of a wide variety of raw materials and components to produce a custom finished engineered product
Intake technical customer RFPs complete with specifications and drawings to produce technical estimates of working machines which are commercially competitive, specification and code compliant, and delivered in a timely manner
Provide operations personnel with design information and technical direction as to the manufacture of custom machinery
Aid in the development of technical quotations
Work closely with internal and external points of contact to ensure 100% TSB
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering required; mechanical engineering preferred
Seven (7) years of experience working as a mechanical, electrical, or structural design engineer required; ten (10) preferred
Two (2) years of experience managing projects required; five (5) preferred
Two (2) years of experience quoting or estimating projects
CAD drawing and modeling experience
Proficient in AutoCAD or Solidworks; experience in both preferred
Mechanical and structural design experience
Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals
Ability to interpret and apply design codes
Strong computer skills: proficient in MS 365/Office Suite and Acrobat required; Epicor preferred
