Application Specialist Position Overview The Application Specialist will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance in the application of machining tools such as milling, turning, and grooving. This role is essential for ensuring the effective use of technology in a job shop environment and assisting prospects in understanding the benefits of our tool applications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and expertise to customers regarding machining tools and applications.
Assist prospects in understanding and selecting the appropriate tools for their specific needs.
Conduct training sessions and workshops on the effective use of milling, turning, and grooving tools.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machining technology to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
Proven experience in a job shop environment with hands-on knowledge of milling, turning, and grooving processes.
Strong understanding of machining tools and their applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to technical challenges.
