Quality Control Technician Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician in 2 of our locations to ensure that our products meet or exceed established quality standards. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our asphalt mix design process and will be responsible for conducting tests and inspections to ensure product quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily QC checks to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Conduct laboratory tests to validate mix design and ensure product consistency.
Collect samples and conduct field tests on asphalt and paving materials.
Analyze test results and report findings to plant management.
Maintain accurate records of all test results and inspections.
Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve quality issues.
Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new testing procedures and equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control role, preferably in the Asphalt and Paving industry
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated knowledge of QC testing procedures and equipment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have: experience with mix design
