Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift at Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, Maryland

Job Description:

Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.19 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, MD, a local supplier of Gardein products, is looking for qualified individuals to join our warehouse team! You will work onsite in a freezer forklift operator position on 2nd shift reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

You will:

• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift, reach truck, dock stocker, ride-on pallet jack or ASRS system


• Use an RF gun to perform transactions, including: receiving, put away, transfers, and performing inventory inquiries


• Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safe use during the day and communicating any issues to Warehouse Supervisors


• Perform vehicle inspections by checking tires, lights, brakes, and the reefer unit


• Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks as assigned


• Coordinate and communicate with production to assess the need for raw materials; locate supplies in the warehouse and bringing it to where it is needed


• Inform Warehouse Supervisors of raw material shortages


• Follow our safety policies and procedures


• Other responsibilities as assigned

You have:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30lbs frequently


• Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50lbs occasionally


• Ability to work seven (7) days per week during peak production seasons.


• High School Diploma or GED required


• Experience operating forklift and pallet jacket are required.
