Purpose Statement

Rich's, a Family-Owned Food Company dedicated to inspiring possibilities is recruiting for a Financial Analyst to support the Food Service & Ingredient Divisions of its U.S./Canada Region. The successful candidate will have the required financial competencies to play a key role in managing the financial reporting and analysis support to these Divisions, supporting governance, pricing efforts, bids, and assistance with the sales incentive plan.



This position is a hybrid role located at Rich's U.S. Headquarters in Buffalo, NY.


Key Accountabilities and Outcomes


  • The Food Service/Ingredient Financial Analyst will provide insightful financial management support, advice, and counsel to the Senior Vice President of Sales.

  • Bring financial guidance and support to the monthly close process, monthly forecasting process which includes gap analysis with risk and opportunities, governance, transfer price analysis, bid/ pricing analysis, and sales incentive plan analysis.

  • Play a key role in assisting with decision support that will drive performance and results of these overall Divisions.

  • Assist with working through projections on new products that requires developing cost estimates and determining pricing.

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance for Food Service, this position will work on a cross functional team of associates supporting sales and marketing efforts.

  • Travel is limited to the US for sales meetings and/or manufacturing plant visits.





Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

* Bachelor's degree required; Accounting preferred

* MBA or other advanced degree as well as CPA/CMA certification is highly preferred

* Minimum 3 years of Finance/Accounting experience

* Modeling experience with financial, cost, etc. along with system support

* Ability to develop accurate and timely financial analysis & reports

* Experience in finance, accounting, financial data analysis and forecasting with preparation of monthly reports


* Willing to work in a face-paced dynamic environment

* Ability to organize and prioritize work to balance cost and risk factors within the Finance team

* Demonstrated planning, managing projects, and organizing skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other Business unit teams

* Drives to take actions on the conclusions from the analysis

* Passion for the business, combined with a positive personality and attitude, and a hands-on style

* Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

* Holds self-accountable with sound judgment, high intelligence, and high emotional IQ

* High energy with appropriate sense of urgency

COMPENSATION


In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

$67,773.92-$91,694.12
