Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations related to our construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management as required.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
Expert knowledge of accounting software such as Sage and BuildOps.
Strong understanding of construction accounting and finance principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
