A leader in the specialized equipment industry, seeking an electrical engineer specialized in industrial vehicle electrical systems.
Key Requirements:
Experience with Parker IQan and Codesys, with the ability to work with diagrams, flowcharts, and structured text.
Familiarity with SAE standards, with a preference for experience with J1939 communication protocols.
Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical systems, including electrical motors and variable frequency drives.
Proficiency in communication and diagnostic bus platforms, such as CAN and J1939.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred, with 0-2 years of experience in oilfield or manufacturing environments, especially with diesel engines, considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical circuits, including drawing creation, reverse engineering, and component selection for various projects.
Provide expert guidance on integrating customer-provided control systems into custom-designed equipment.
Apply mathematical and engineering principles to develop innovative solutions and improve existing designs.
Utilize SolidWorks and electrical 2D/3D software to create and refine system designs.
Perform extensive testing and validation to ensure that all designs meet required standards and specifications.
