Job Overview:
As a Junior SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing SCADA systems by building SCADA screens and performing tag integrations. This is a hands-on role, and you will undergo a comprehensive 3-week training at the client's site to get up to speed on their systems and processes. Key Responsibilities:
Build and design SCADA screens based on project requirements.
Perform tag integrations, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to implement SCADA solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems for maximum efficiency.
Assist with system testing and deployment.
Attend a 3-week training at the client's site to gain necessary knowledge and skills.
Ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
Required Qualifications:
Recent college graduate or young professional with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 6 months of experience in SCADA systems and/or software development or industrial control systems support.
Familiarity with SCADA platforms, software programming, or automation systems, preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of tag integration within SCADA systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience administration support experience with SCADA platforms like Ignition, Wonderware, or Cygnet.
Understanding of automation and control systems.
Any prior experience with industrial field devices and equipment.
