We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in Linux OS and Qt/C++ programming to contribute to the design, implementation, and review of application code for our clients machine manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with diagnostics, health monitoring systems, and interface development within an embedded Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth design reviews of all application code, ensuring seamless integration with Linux OS.
Evaluate and optimize Linux OS implementation to enhance system performance and reliability.
Develop and support diagnostic tools and health monitoring features within display software, improving overall system functionality.
Collaborate with a global team of engineers, participating in discussions and problem-solving using Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in software development, particularly in a Linux environment.
Expert-level proficiency in Linux OS.
Extensive experience with Qt/C++ programming and QML for developing user interfaces.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Specialized Skills & Tools:
Expertise in Linux OS architecture and system optimization.
Proficient in Qt/C++ and QML programming for embedded systems and graphical interface development.
Familiarity with diagnostic software tools and health monitoring systems.
Work Conditions:
Primarily office-based role, with occasional work in a shop environment.
Some physical tasks such as lifting (5 to 40 pounds), standing, bending, and sitting may be required.
Majority of work involves simulation at a desk and software testing in the lab.
