Job Description:

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm (2 days remote)

Salary: $65,000 / year

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Education or Human Services
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services or related field required, a Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience with E-Learning and/or Instructional Design strongly preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel to satilite locations.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Must be able to pass a CORI check, background check and reference check.

We are seeking an experienced Training Specialist to assist with the development and delivery of training programs and courses. The Training Specialist will also assist the Director of Training and Senior Training Specialist in reviewing and revising courses to ensure that content is current, reflects Vinfen's mission and values and is consistent with best practices in Instructional Design. The Training Specialist provides support to required data entry systems, evaluation processes, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

The Training Specialist will also:

  • Implement course revisions and new developments by training cadres and assuring all materials are current.
  • Develop a monthly Divisional calendar of courses, enter all content into the Learning Management Database, and post 3 months in advance.
  • Ensure that all courses are accurately entered into Learning Management Systems.
  • Maintain current Divisional Training database to track evaluation trends, cadre feedback, and instructional design needs. In collaboration with the Director of Training, coordinate the staffing and delivery of courses taught by adjunct instructors.
  • Observe and provide coaching support to all Instructors at least annually. Communicate with relevant divisional and company staff to ensure quality and effectiveness of training.
  • Co-facilitate the Divisional Training Steering Committee, and distribute agenda and minutes.
  • Enter all certification course data, both internal and external, in database systems within
  • timelines specified by The Director of Training. Maintain current information on
  • Divisional programs and trends by reading industry trade publications, necessary
  • documentation, and reports.
  • Maintain current information on Training and Development programs and trends by reading industry trade publications.
  • Maintain currency on training and development issues and trends.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all staff and visitors.
