Key Responsibilities:
Develop, code, and optimize slicers for FDM 3D printing, with a focus on Prusa, Cura, Orca, and Bambu slicers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and refine slicer functionality for improved print quality and performance.
Customize G-code generation and implement post-processing scripts to optimize the printing process.
Troubleshoot slicer issues and work on improving print quality through slicing software modifications.
Stay ahead of new slicing technologies and integrate them into our production workflow.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in coding and developing 3D printing slicers (Prusa, Cura, Orca, Bambu experience is preferable).
Strong understanding of FDM/FFF 3D printing technologies and materials.
Excellent programming skills related to slicer development and G-code generation.
Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to relocate to Ventura, CA. For the right candidate, we consider remote work.
