Position Overview:

Rowan Appliance Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant with experience in finance and HR support. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring our operations run smoothly by managing our company's cost-tracking, basic HR duties, and providing general administrative assistance to our executive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expense & Receipt Management: Organize and record company expenses, manage receipts, and prepare reports for cost tracking and tax filing purposes.
  • Basic HR Support: Assist with employee onboarding, record-keeping, distributing California-required HR documents, and managing timesheets/PTO tracking.
  • General Administrative Duties: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, organize files, and assist with day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Compliance Assistance: Help ensure that Rowan Appliance Inc. is compliant with HR and financial regulations.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide additional support to the executive team with various tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required: In Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in administrative roles with a focus on expense management and HR support.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), experience with bookkeeping and financial tracking software (QuickBooks or similar), and familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail in managing finances and employee records.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
