We are seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst to join our growing team at Oregon Fruit Company, a leader in the fruit industry. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will provide essential financial insight and support across various functions, including month-end financial analysis, pricing strategies, capital expenditure project evaluation, budgeting, and ad hoc financial projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring the financial health and growth of the company.

Job Duties
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability reports, and financial performance reviews.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and monitor ongoing performance against budget.
  • Support the CFO with ad hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to provide financial insights that support the evaluation of new product profitability and market potential.
  • Perform detailed pricing analysis and contribute to the development of pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure projects, providing financial insights and recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Assist in cost analysis associated with production, labor, and materials to identify areas for improvement or savings.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Partner with other departments to provide financial insight, supporting business objectives and informed decision-making across non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and assist with audits.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing or food industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles (GAAP), and financial analysis techniques.

Language Skills
  • English

Computer Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent to create insightful financial reports
  • Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central is a strongly desired.

Reasoning Ability
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods.
  • Requires work on computers for long periods.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.
