Position: Business Analyst - Capital Markets Operations
Location: 100 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28255
Setting: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager with expertise in Capital Markets and Operations to support change and transformation projects within Global Fixed Income Operations. The role involves gathering requirements, engaging with business and project partners, and driving solutions to enhance operational efficiency and controls. You will work closely with Securities Operations, Technology, and Transformation teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of transformation projects in Global Fixed Income Operations.
Gather and document business requirements, designing and implementing solutions.
Engage with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Technology, and other units.
Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify areas for improvement.
Lead process mapping for current state operations and develop specifications for future designs.
Provide input on functionality changes and identify opportunities for automation.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support project execution.
Produce management reports on project status, risks, and progress.
Collaborate with team members at various levels to drive successful project delivery.
Act as a deputy to the project manager when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager, preferably in a tier-1 bank or financial services environment.
Strong understanding of Capital Markets operations, particularly Middle or Back Office.
Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling to inform business decisions.
Experience managing large data sets and presenting complex information effectively.
BA/Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, or related preferred).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience leading transformation projects in a tier-1 bank.
Ability to engage and influence both senior and junior team members.
Strong skills in documenting and presenting technical and functional requirements.
Familiarity with project governance, documentation, and reporting processes.
Education:
BA/Undergraduate Degree required (Business, Finance, or related field preferred).
