Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a dynamic and technical leader to serve as the Director of Finance for our International business. This role will be focused on providing strategic and financial guidance to the Company's international expansion. Within this purview, the Director will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally within Finance, Accounting, Legal, Sourcing, Operations and Sales to build out best-in-class financial processes and drive growth in our newest geographic markets.

Focus and scope will range from growth strategy to financial planning, pricing, internal controls, and accounting processes. Initially, there will be a heavy emphasis on process and financial operations along with transparency and reporting to enable performance management. The role reports to the VP of Finance - International and Professional Services. It is a hands-on role with high visibility requiring extensive partnerships with not only sales leaders but also within finance, accounting, and corporate support functions.

What you'll do

Drive Revenue Growth:
  • Build a cohesive process and corresponding financial modeling to help the business assess international growth opportunities
  • Work with leadership to develop associated governance
  • Identify new market entry and/or new project opportunities within burgeoning markets via close partnership with sales
  • Establish market assessment processes to better prioritize markets and inform entrance strategy

Build a scalable financial infrastructure:
  • Partner with VP of Finance and VP of Accounting to manage the international expansion program for Finance
  • Collaborate with Accounting and VP of Finance to drive solutions around cash and treasury processes, capital allocation, tax compliance, and record-to-report processes
  • Work with business leadership to develop systematic controls for ensuring accurate data capture, DOAs, managing SLAs, and preventing problem projects before they materially impact profitability
  • Consult and advise on compensation policies that reinforce and align with company objectives

Direct Financial Planning & Analysis for International Programs:
  • Develop processes and reporting to provide transparency on true country and project performance
  • Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting along with appropriate revenue recognition and controls
  • Partner with Accounting, Revenue Operations and Analytics to develop KPI monitoring covering sales pipeline, operational efficiency and working capital management (net terms, DSOs)
  • Leverage the above to drive rolling (re)forecasts, budgets and associated variance analyses
  • Deliver proactive insights and analysis in conjunction with matrixed financial analysts on a weekly and monthly basis in line with weekly/monthly processes
  • Manage monthly MBR and MD&A deliverables for associated programs along with ad hoc investor requests/communications with PE partners

In addition:
  • Optimize data workflows and improve management reporting access and reliability.
  • Drive KPI and data governance within the team and across the company.
  • Directly applicable scenario planning and contribute to the long-term strategic planning process. Assess operational and HR KPIs and their impact on financial outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years of Finance experience, with demonstrated experience in advanced financial modeling
  • A growth mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving demonstrated through a track record of data-driven decision-making
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent preferred
  • The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, relying on acute attention to detail and innate business savvy to help guide leadership through uncertain markets and an increasingly complex operating environment.
  • International, project management and knowledge and familiarity with US GAAP and IGRS is a plus
