Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our growing client's Finance Team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic organization, with a focus on driving financial strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring revenue growth. This position will serve as the right hand to the Company's CFO!

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive finance experience and proven expertise in revenue recognition specific to medical providers. As a key member of the finance leadership team, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Leadership:
    • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
    • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
    • Conduct regular financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Revenue Recognition:
    • Oversee revenue recognition processes, specifically for medical providers, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with the operations and billing teams to monitor revenue streams and ensure timely recognition in alignment with contractual terms.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, investors, and the Board of Directors.
    • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards, including tax filings, audits, and internal controls.
  • Operational Improvement:
    • Drive continuous improvements in financial operations, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
    • Implement best practices in financial management, reporting, and controls.
    • Play a part in determining/overseeing software upgrade initiatives
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
    • Experience working in a Private Equity-backed, VC, or Investment Banking Company is highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition specific to medical providers or healthcare services.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and financial reporting.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
    • CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
