Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and organized College Success Coach to join our team. As a Success Coach, you will mentor students through their college journey, helping them manage deadlines, research colleges, brainstorm essays, and find community service opportunities. You'll provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure students feel confident and prepared for their applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly check-ins with students, and biweekly meetings with juniors and weekly meetings with seniors.
Write meeting notes after each session and send monthly progress reports to parents.
Track and follow up on all application and scholarship deadlines.
Assist students in college research, Common App creation, and resume building.
Help students brainstorm and draft college essays.
Guide students through scholarship and financial aid applications.
Provide positive reinforcement to build student self-confidence.
Work remotely with the flexibility to set your own schedule.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field.
Experience with the college admissions process.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple students.
