Join one of Southern California's leading heavy civil firms. $400M firm self-performing heavy highway and underground utility work on projects around Southern California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing highway and underground utility projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
Set project timeline and ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
Responsible for RFI and submittal process
Monitor project deliverables
Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or PM on highway and/or public works projects.
Strong experience in Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
