Our client is an A rated carrier who has been writing Contract Surety business for 10+ years and during that time they have experienced substantial growth not only in the amount of premium written, but also in increased surety capacity allowing them to grow with their clients as they write larger jobs and larger programs.
We are looking for a Sr. Contract Surety Underwriter in Indiana to join their team.
What you can expect in the role
Take over an exisiting book of small to mid-size contract business
You will drive new business revenue by building upon current agency & broker relationships in the territory while simultaneously forging new ones
Target Growth of territory is 10 - 15% YOY
Work with seasoned veterans in the contract surety space
What is needed to be successful in this role
3+ years of Contract Surety experience
Ability to travel and meet with agents in the assigned territory
AFSB Designation prefered
