About the Role

The individual will be a part of the Procurement Center of Excellence, responsible for providing support for strategic Procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, and sourcing process development and execution across four main procurement towers (direct materials, sourced finished goods, indirect services, logistics/transportation). This role will support significant amounts of information gathering, data consolidation, and data refinement activities.

What You Will Do
  • Navigate seamlessly throughout the organization during data gathering and analysis activities, fostering relationships with functions throughout the business.
  • Assist members of the Procurement and Category Sourcing groups in analyzing data to support shared objectives and drive strategy.
  • Support strategic Procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, and sourcing development and execution across four main procurement areas (Direct Materials, Sourced Finished Goods, Indirect Services, Logistics/Transportation).
  • Support significant amounts of information gathering, data consolidation, and data refinement activities.
  • Responsible for the macro-level analysis of Procurement-related activities at the regional level to further the Procurement group's strategic vision.
  • Support complex data analysis, including scenario analysis and developing supplier award recommendations.
  • Support in evaluating and implementation of Global and Regional Processes and Procedures

What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or related technical field
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in procurement, logistics/transportation, supply chain, finance, operations, or related fields (automotive, manufacturing industry experience preferred).
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and demonstrates expertise in technical applications.
  • Experienced in manipulating large, complex data sets and can leverage analytical skills to drive and influence business decisions.
  • Experienced supporting building, implementing, and running various market events. SAP Ariba and Coupa Sourcing Optimization experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving and project management skills and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable in presenting to executive-level stakeholders and other cross-functional leadership.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese desired.
