Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Assistant at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. The Database Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and organizing databases, ensuring data integrity, and assisting with database-related projects. The Database Assistant should be proficient in various database technologies and be comfortable working with computers and other technology-related tools. This is an entry-level position.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Experience with database administration and databases
Proficient in data analytics and management
Ability to work independently and with a team
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Experience with Slate, Ellucian or other similar higher education systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
