Position Synopsis

Our client is a consumer products and nutraceutical manufacturer that has recently launched their eCommerce platform to propel revenue beyond $550M by 2025 is seeking someone to join their executive council. They are seeking a Chief Operating Officer that will act as the Executive Vice President of Operations, Logistics, and Fulfillment to run the company alongside the CEO, CFO, SVP of Sales, and Chief People Officer. When push comes to shove you will lead day-to-day leadership as you implement well thought out plans for infrastructure build out of processes, personnel, and maximizing technology including systems and AI.

In conjunction with the CEO and board members your gravitas will accommodate the company's vision, mission and objectives. Constantly encouraging employees to reach new heights by leading by example and celebrating small and large wins. With a dominant wholesale revenue stream selling to Costco, Sam's Club, Whole Foods, and other Specialty retail chains. It is now time for the eCommerce and D2C sales channels to enlarge top line and enhance margins. Your team will include a VP of Customer Service & Success, Director of Supply Chain, Vice President of Operations & Warehouse Director.

Job Duties
  • The head of operations will oversee aspects of supply chain, logistics, strategy, inventory planning, operational data integrity, purchasing, customer service, and procurement.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the fulfillment center, providing organizational excellence, and build a work environment that draws people to the team.
  • Working with Chief Product Officer on creation of overall product strategy for the company, including vision, principles, and execution.
  • Passionately support mission to aggregate the $1.3 trillion-dollar nutraceutical industry by ensuring success of vision, strategy, and principles of company.
  • Drive positive transformation in operational aspects of the business and build a best in class, data-driven group that supports deep analysis of the business, inventory planning and accommodates the organization's future growth
  • Redesign how fulfillment, customer service, and supply chain interact allowing data, orders, and intel to quickly be dissected.
  • Lead operations transformation requiring you to redefine efficiency as current demand its outstripping operations ability to execute timely for highly desired outcome by every current customer and future prospect.
  • Develop inventory strategies that maintain ideal inventory levels to meet desired regional customer forecasted demand to achieve inventory turn goals while maximizing free standing cash flow.
  • Ensure accurate inventory data across all systems including ERP, 3PL portals, and Big Commerce/Shopify.
  • Implement a continuous improvement think tank amongst the executives to find time and delivery efficiencies to better serve customer's needs.
  • Work closely with head of technology to build profitability dealer analysis P&L's that produce dynamic scorecards based on bestselling products, quickest moving SKUs, and inventory turnover ratios.
  • Lead future dynamic inventory model build out with CFO that can forecast optimal inventory on hand for wholesale, retail, & ecommerce channels.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in consumer goods, durable goods, industrial products, apparel, wholesale, Big Box Retail, eCommerce, or automotive
  • Someone who can resolve conflicts and create solutions, as well as an excellent communicator
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively inspire, develop, and lead a team; A leader who values teamwork, excellence, authenticity, accountability, integrity and commitment to the organizational values
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of successful finance and operations strategies and systems to assure tight controls and sound financial reporting, business planning, and forecasting
