Job Title: Project Administrator - Commercial Construction
Location: San Antonio, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Maintain and organize essential project documentation, including contracts, schedules, change orders, and progress reports.
- Coordinate project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate communication and address project-related inquiries.
- Track project budgets, expenses, and timelines, ensuring compliance with financial goals and deadlines.
- Support the preparation of bid proposals and assist in the procurement of materials and services.
- Help develop and implement project management processes and best practices.
- Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project administration, specifically within commercial construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, MS Project, or similar applications.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, codes, and regulations is a plus.
