My client is looking for an EXPERIENCED Director of Regional Purchasing for house 'directs' to join their operations team in Irvine. This position will be responsible for the managing and directing all purchasing efforts including:
Organizing and managing a small support staff.
Value engineering product, provide amenity recommendations.
Compiling preliminary budgets based on historical unit costs.
Developing/reviewing all scopes of work.
Reading plans.
Soliciting and organizing bids.
Awarding contracts with all vendors/subcontractors.
Creating and monitoring final budgets.
Supporting construction schedules.
Successful candidate will come out of SoCal and have 5+ years experience in a similar position.
