Technical M&A Project Manager

12-Month Contract possible extension

Remote: Needs to be able to travel to Knoxville, TN

Our client, the largest and fastest-growing health system in South Carolina, is looking to expand its Project Management team to provide oversight across the IT and Infrastructure teams in relation to recent acquisitions. This individual will act as a hybrid resource at the newly acquired hospital locations, communicating cross-functionally across various areas of IT and applications teams. Ultimately, this individual will be guiding and coordinating projects and strategy to ensure the successful integration of Epic and acquisition-related initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's degree required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on project management lifecycle experience
  • Multiple full life cycle M&A Projects - Epic Specific
  • Proven expertise and experience across various Information Technology facets, including desktop support, network engineering, infrastructure, and telecommunications.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Epic EMR.
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple project initiatives in a fast-paced and highly technical environment.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, departments and other third parties.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active PMP Certification or other active certifications from the PMI Institute.
  • Epic implementation and integration experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience conducting projects related to mergers and/or acquisitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational aspects and scope of multiple Healthcare hardware & software projects, creating and executing project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal technical teams outside of Project Management Office to ensure project effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of client expectations.
  • Assist in defining detailed scoping with business customers, perform schedule development and tracking; manage budgets, manage, and track all issue, risks and changes.
  • Initiate and lead project team meetings and updates with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Conducts project planning and status meetings with assigned resources & creates project charters.
  • Track and ensure SLA's are being met by vendors and business partners.
