Job Summary
Attollo Engineering is looking for an Applications Engineer to be the primary technical interface with customers to assist with product setup, system integration, and troubleshooting. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining product support documentation, scripts, and example demonstrations. A successful candidate will be one with strong interpersonal skills, a breadth of technical understanding and curiosity, and the ability to work with autonomy and efficiency.
Role and Responsibilities • Collaborate with customers to set up products, diagnose, and resolve common technical issues. • Develop user guides, application notes, helper scripts, and demonstration materials to streamline support requests. • Create and maintain example code demonstrating the utilization of camera features and functions. • Develop requirements and testing procedures for new product features. • Test and evaluate new sensor features under diverse operating conditions. • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and offer tailored technical support. • Conduct technical demonstrations in-person and via platforms like Microsoft Teams. • Effectively communicate product specifications and measurement techniques to customers with varying technical expertise.
Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. • 2-3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within a technical customer support or applications engineering function. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Experience with Python; familiarity with at least one additional object-oriented programming language is preferred. • Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics, firmware, and hardware. • Familiarity with image sensors and processing techniques.
Preferred Skills • Strong analytical abilities, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts. • Proficiency in Python and experience working with both Windows and Linux environments. • Hands-on experience with hardware and software tools. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency and productivity.
