We are seeking a skilled "contract" Data Solutions Engineer with expertise in AspenTech/OSIsoft solutions, including OMS and ADMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with familiarity in MongoDB and Python as valuable assets.
**Must live within 200 miles of the Sacramento area or willing to relocate to be onsite day one**
**If you're a C2C/3rd Party Supplier, your H1-B must be able to present their I-727 with your company name on it.**
**If you're a C2C/3rd Party Supplier, and you're presenting a GC or USC, you must prove that person has been on your payroll for 12 months plus.**
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage AspenTech/OSIsoft/OSI Monarch applications, focusing on OMS and ADMS functionalities.
Design and maintain databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Utilize MongoDB for NoSQL database solutions as needed.
Develop data processing scripts and automation tools using Python.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data systems and applications.
Document processes, standards, and best practices related to data management.
Contractors can be remote but require certain segments to be onsite and onboarding. Must reside in USA.
10-20% onsite when testing and near Go Live.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with AspenTech/OSIsoft/OSI Monarch OMS and ADMS.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL database management.
Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL databases is a plus.
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in data analytics or reporting tools.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and data integration technologies.
