Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • PE stamp for VT with ability to obtain NY and NH stamps

Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience designing MEP systems for commercial buildings
  • Proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tailor solutions to unique project needs

Key Responsibilities:

-- Innovative System Design & Sustainability:
  • Lead the design of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings
  • Pioneer energy-efficient solutions that strike a balance between sustainability and functionality
  • Maximize energy performance through forward-thinking designs that set new industry standards

-- Project Leadership & Management:
  • Take ownership of MEP projects from initial concept through to final implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration of MEP systems
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations

--Technical Mastery:
  • Conduct advanced calculations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Utilize tools like Revit to model and visualize complex system designs
  • Stay ahead of trends by recommending the latest technologies to boost energy efficiency

-- Collaboration & Influence:
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and key stakeholders to bring projects to life
  • Communicate complex design concepts clearly to clients and project teams
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and practical problem-solving within the team

-- Quality Assurance & Site Inspections:
  • Review and validate construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy
  • Perform site visits to ensure that designs are executed in line with the intended vision
  • Address any required design changes quickly and efficiently to maintain project timelines
