We are searching for a Full-Time Marketing Manager for our client in the adult beverage industry. As a Marketing Manager, you will:
Manage the company's Marketing team based in Beaverton, Oregon, providing effective mentoring, career development, and leadership.
Lead project management on key initiatives, coordinating efforts of a cross-functional team.
Assist in the development of brand plans, brand/product positioning, new product launches, and promotions targeting both on- and off-premise channels.
Take a lead role in managing outside agencies and vendors.
Oversee the company's marketing budget, ensuring a focus on ROI and effectiveness.
Communicate frequently with the sales team to develop tools, analyze promotions, and ensure adherence to budget and brand standards.
Analyze brand performance quarterly and take proactive corrective actions when necessary.
Develop a comprehensive calendar of marketing activities, promotions, events, product launches, and product focus periods.
Work closely with the VP of Sales to provide marketing support and sake/product education tools for trade and consumers.
Act as a brand/sake ambassador at consumer and trade events and distributor meetings.
Who we're searching for / About you:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, ideally in the alcohol beverage industry.
At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
Knowledge of sake or a strong desire to acquire sake knowledge and appreciation.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
Understanding of the three-tier distribution system is strongly preferred.
Experience with giving presentations to groups of 15 or more.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Creativity, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and handle multiple projects.
Experience with Nielsen/IRI data and social media/digital advertising management.
Ability to foster a productive, motivated, and fun office environment.
Logistics:
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Location: Beaverton, OR
Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite
