Job Summary

Our client in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Bilingual Dispatcher to join their team! The Bilingual Dispatcher will be key in coordinating service requests, managing communication between field crews and customers, and ensuring smooth information flow within the organization. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to service requests in both English and Spanish
  • Efficiently dispatch service technicians to jobs, ensuring timely responses to customer needs
  • Keep accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, and technician status using the customer service management system
  • Coordinate with field teams to provide updates on service requests and ensure the availability of necessary equipment and resources
  • Communicate service schedules, delays, and other important information to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Assist with resolving customer inquiries and complaints by providing timely, effective solutions
  • Monitor and track service vehicle locations and offer routing support to technicians as needed
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery
  • Conduct follow-up calls with customers to ensure their satisfaction with services
  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in a related field is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required
  • Previous experience in dispatching or customer service, ideally in the utilities or service industry
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computer systems and software; experience with dispatch or customer service management software is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused attitude
