<span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">The Workforce Analytic Solution team is responsible for developing analytics to support or automate recurring decisions in an objective, data-driven manner to improve field labor decisions. Examples of analytic solutions this team manages include helping optimize the allocation of sales advisors across our retail stores and predict the volume of in-home and in-store services to staff accordingly.</span></span><br><br><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">As the Senior Manager of Workforce Analytic Solutions, you will work with functional partners to identify our roadmap of analytic solutions to develop, oversee the team to develop the solutions and drive adoption of the solutions. The team seeks a candidate with extensive background in applying analytic and machine learning techniques to solve problems with a track record of improving business decisions using analytics.</span></span><br><br><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.</span></span><br><br><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>What will you do?</b></span></span></span><ul><li><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Manage, coach, and develop a team that build workforce analytic solutions. </span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Lead/manage workforce solutions through the analytic lifecycle (discovery, proof of concept, pilot, production). This includes:</span></span></span></li></ul><ul><li style="margin-left:56px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Working with functional partners to define solutions, manage expectations and drive adoption.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:56px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Managing the teams that do the development and maintenance of solutions.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:56px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Working with other technical teams who develop and deploy our solutions including Database Developers to ensure we have the necessary data and Applied Machine Learning to productionalize our analytics.</span></span></span></li><li><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">For each project, assist in writing code, developing the analytical methodology to answer the question, creating presentation-ready material, and share out to the end client. You will also have a team to support these activities but having hands-on experience in each area is critical.</span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Basic Qualifications</b></span></span></span><ul><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">5 years of applied experience in data science, data analysis, data mining or other similar business functions.</span></span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">2 years of experience leading and managing direct reports. </span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Hands-on experience using data analytics and optimization tools (i.e., SQL, Python, R, Vertex AI). </span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university preferably in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related STEM field</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Effectively manage a business relationship with a client, consistently driving forward the work.</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful, end to end project from concept to execution.</span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></span></span></span><ul><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Masters / PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related STEM field.</span></span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">3 years of retail experience</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">2 years of prior experience in workforce analytics</span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><span style="color:black">Working knowledge of various analytic methods (i.e., data analysis, statistics, operations research and/or machine learning) with application to business problems. </span></span></span></span></li><li style="margin-left:8px"><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">Experience working with globally distributed team</span></span></span></li></ul><span style="font-size:13px;"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif"><b>What is in it for you</b></span></span><br><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif">We are committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
