Overview

Hybrid based near Bloomington, IN preferred. Qualified applicants hybrid-based near another Cook facility, or remote based in other locations will also be considered.

Responsible for development and ensuring delivery of educational content f or product management employees, in alignment with divisions' mission, vision and purpose, division and company employee training and development priorities, and overall company priorities.

Lead and support global product management training programs within the divisions, aligning work and priorities with division training leadership and teams, learning and development leadership, HR and global function, division, and operational units.

Collaborate with HR and Learning and Development (L&D) on employee development matters and initiatives.

Ensure global product management employee education and development programs are efficient, effective, and compliant in meeting the needs of our employee and the business .

Responsibilities

Work closely with leadership and stakeholders within product management, learning & development, HR, and company function and operational units to implement and ensure consistency in global employee training and development priorities, processes, and structure.

Ensure global direction and alignment across specialties while accommodating local and regional regulations and needs.

Develop, communicate, deliver, and support cross-division product management education and development programs.

Consistently collaborate with product management leadership to establish, measure, and meet training needs and employee development goals.

Act as a resource for employees in achieving their development goals.

Work closely with leadership to define and manage comprehensive development pathways and training requirements for each position

Support and participate in development, design, and review of training content to ensure training is effective

Evaluates the training need and determines whether internal content can be created or the need to seek external expertise

Create learning solutions and processes aligned with organizational competencies and product management initiatives.

Partner with HR and Learning and Development (L&D) on training and development initiatives, including but not limited to, manager training, competencies, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), etc.

Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.

Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience in organizational planning and/or project management.

Display positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving objectives.

Demonstrate excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.

Experience in eLearning programs and/or Cook's Learning Management System (LMS).

Strong computer usage skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the medical device industry

Prior Training and/or Empoyee Development experience.

Demonstrate strong business skills.

Demonstrate ability to work with leadership

Extensive experience in a training environment.

Prior experience leading organizational change.

Knowledge of training documentation systems/methods.

Knowledge in adult learning theories including assessments and competency-based training.

Model the company standards that others are expected to follow.

Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Ability to travel domestic, international, and weekends as needed up to 20%

Work under general office environmental conditions.
