Cross-Functional Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Cross-Functional Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of complex initiatives across various teams within a large-scale, global media and technology organization. This role will focus on driving process improvements, managing project lifecycles, and collaborating with marketing, engineering, product, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing media services, product development cycles, and real-time collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects from inception through execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery of features and services.
- Collaborate with marketing leads, engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to align priorities, identify dependencies, and overcome challenges.
- Develop and evolve systems and processes to support ongoing growth and enhancements in customer experience.
- Create and maintain project workflows, schedules, and status reports, ensuring transparency across global teams.
- Drive communication and relationship management with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Lead the team through the execution phase, ensuring seamless transitions post-engineering completion for marketing and growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of project management experience, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly in working with multiple engineering teams simultaneously.
- Proven experience managing high-visibility projects within a larger technology or media company.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate complex team dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to high-level stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Slack, or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on marketing campaigns, subscription-based services, or media content projects.
- Background in large-scale technology companies with an emphasis on immediate impact and driving growth.
- Familiarity with customer journey optimization, pricing strategies, and managing creative assets for large events or product launches.
