Responsibilities:

The Digital Communications and Web Administrator will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining the college's website (lsco.edu) using Modern Campus CMS. This role will also involve creating and curating content, managing analytics, and coordinating web projects across various departments to ensure alignment with institutional goals. Additionally, the position will have a secondary focus supporting social media management.





Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:




  • Maintain and update the college website to ensure accurate, engaging, and effective web content.

  • Monitor website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager generating and analyzing reports to optimize user experience and content strategy.

  • Design and implement web page layouts, web applications, graphics, tables, and interactive forms, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Manage user accounts and workflows within Modern Campus CMS and provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support for system-related issues.

  • Assist in writing and curating news posts, newsletters, and multimedia content for the website, social media platforms, internal and external emails.

  • Work closely with departments across campus to align web content with departmental objectives and institutional marketing goals.

  • Provide support for faculty, staff, and students regarding website-related issues, offering solutions and guidance.

  • Create, maintain, update and enforce policies and procedures for web and digital communications.

  • Develop and deliver training materials, courses, and manuals to ensure users are well-versed in the proper use of web systems.







Qualifications:


Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in web development, communications, digital media, or a related field.

  • At least two years of experience in web management and design, with hands-on experience using HTML, CSS, PHP, and CMS platforms (Modern Campus CMS preferred).



Skills:




  • Proficiency in web development, web design, and content management.

  • Experience with SEO and website analytics, particularly Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

  • Basic graphic design skills, particularly in the context of web content.

  • Experience managing social media platforms and integrating them with website content.

  • Ability to develop policies, procedures, and training materials for effective web management.

  • Familiarity with higher education environments or working in a community/technical college setting is a plus.
