Business Services Specialist ITUMG Financial Accounting
Location: Harahan, LA
Summary
Posts third party payments by necessary means (i.e. Electronic or manual) to Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR) in IDX/GE Centricity; reconciles to applicable Explanation of Benefits(EOB) and/or Remittance Advices (RA) as necessary; investigates and resolves discrepancies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) years' healthcare billing experience
- Extensive experience with reviewing and/or analyzing patient accounts to determine appropriate charges and/or payments
- Experience in a University and/or Healthcare setting;knowledge of generally accepted Academic Medical Group principals and theories
