Prepares and maintains treatment areas and equipment to adhere to appropriate infection control standards, as well as maintains logs to assure compliance.
Assists the licensed clinicians in the delivery of patient care as permitted by State of Maryland Practice Acts.
Assists front office and clinicians with routine clerical tasks to support the patient care process.
Monitors and maintains inventory to assure adequate supplies.
Demonstrates patient-centered care and service.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Current ACLS or BCLS certification is required.
Patient Safety
Ensures patient safety in the performance of job functions and through participation in hospital, department or unit patient safety initiatives.
Takes action to correct observed risks to patient safety.
Reports adverse events and near misses to appropriate management authority.
Identifies possible risks in processes, procedures, devices and communicates the same to those in charge.
