Elementary Math Specialist (Grades 3-5) – Lead, Teach, and Inspire

Salary: $52,500 (Bachelor’s) – $55,500 (Master’s) annually
Work Schedule:5-day work week
Location: Community Leadership Academy, Commerce City, CO

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Math Specialist to drive math achievement and coach teachers at Community Leadership Academy. This role focuses on developing conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and adaptive reasoning to build students' math proficiency and close achievement gaps. Utilizing Eureka² Math, Ready Math, and Reveal Math, you will deliver innovative instruction and leadership to ensure students are set up for success.

Key Responsibilities



  • Teach and Guide: Deliver direct instruction to students in grades 3-5, focusing on math fluency, problem-solving, and conceptual mastery.


  • Coach and Collaborate: Support teachers by modeling best practices, co-planning lessons, and providing feedback to enhance instruction.


  • Analyze and Implement: Use CMAS assessments to monitor student progress, identify trends, and develop targeted interventions.


  • Leverage Flexible Curriculum: Utilize elements of Eureka² Math, Ready Math, and Reveal Math to meet the diverse needs of students.


  • Foster Growth: Create a culture of continuous growth by leading efforts to close learning gaps and challenge advanced learners.


  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s math journey.

Compensation & Benefits



  • Salary: $52,500 (Bachelor’s) – $55,500 (Master’s) annually

Desired Experience & Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.


  • Experience teaching or coaching math in elementary grades, with an understanding of effective intervention strategies.

  • Familiarity with Eureka² Math, Ready Math, Reveal Math, and CMAS assessments.

  • Strong ability to analyze data and implement instructional strategies to improve student outcomes.

  • Experience leading professional learning communities (PLCs) and mentoring teachers.
