Senior Automated Test Engineer - Remote at Sierra7 in McLean, Virginia

Job Description:

The Senior Automated Test Engineer will assist in testing the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) and VA financial systems.

Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle Participates in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirement compliance through verification and validation Conducts readiness for system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities Conduct functional, system, integration, regression testing of software applications to identify bugs and issues Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications Record test results and prepare detailed defect reports for developers Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve software performance Actively engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) in coordination with end-users Help improve the quality assurance process by contributing to process improvement efforts Support all project reporting requirements
