The Facilities and Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal maintenance and operation of all facilities, equipment and the vehicle fleet.This part-time position (18-30 hours per week) requires travel, including the possibility of overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular outreach and schedule on-site clinic visits to identify facility and maintenance needs, responding promptly to repair requests.Oversee and complete routine maintenance and repairs for all facilities, including minor repairs and coordinating with vendors for larger or specialized repairs.Report the need for repairs to the appropriate external point of contact and/or coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendor based on location and contract.Act as a liaison between employees and outside contractors to resolve specialized facility issues.Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for facilities, equipment, and vehicle fleet; coordinate and/or perform maintenance according to the schedule.Ensure lease agreements are understood and complied with in relation to repairs and maintenance obligations.Manage vehicle fleet maintenance, ensuring vehicles receive regular service, repairs, and inspections.Implement strategies to improve maintenance processes and reduce costs.Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Maintain records of facility inspections, repairs, and vehicle maintenance schedules.Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
