The Opportunity
"Come join our product development team in a hands-on technical role where you'll be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of software development. In this role you will join the FICO CCS (Customer Communication Services) Engineering team responsible for making significant contributions towards coding, design, and development of a cloud-native software platform." - VP, Software Engineering.
What You'll Contribute
Responsible for coding, design, and development of a cloud-native software platform (SaaS (Software as a Service)).
Build a modern and secure REST APIs running in a containerized environment together with AWS (Amazon Web Services) technologies such as Lambda, Docker/ECS, EC2, cloud formation together with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Create high-quality, verified implementations with the unit tests and automated behaviour-driven tests.
Ensure that code is maintainable, performant, and keeps customer data secure.
Opportunity to learn new skills in other functional areas of the product.
Participate in the agile Scrum process, delivering planned sprint work to the Definition of Done.
What We're Seeking
Strong hands-on experience coding with Java/Spring Boot and building cloud native software platforms.
In-depth experience in building software stacks using AWS technologies.
Experience writing product specifications, documenting product features, and presenting them to an audience.
Extensive experience with Databases (Relational or NoSQL)
Experience in Messaging systems like JMS, SQS, etc.
Analyzing, debugging, and optimizing the performance of distributed systems.
Experience in authoring tests with unit test frameworks e.g. Jasmine, Cypress, and automated behaviour test frameworks e.g., Cucumber.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $105,000 to $165,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
