Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Analyst will process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies


• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner


• Ensure timely payment of invoices, including scheduling and processing payments


• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoice filing and payment tracking


• Analyze and manage accounts payable aging, ensuring minimal overdue balances


• As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will communicate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve payment issues


• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable


• Support financial audits by providing documentation and information as needed


• Participate in special projects and process improvements within the finance department

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
