Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a fast-growing service company is looking for an Accounts Payable/Junior Accountant to add to their corporate finance team in Kentwood, MI. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and be primarily responsible for AP and other accounting duties to support their locations and corporate office.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage the company's outstanding bills and invoices


• Processing and recording invoices


• Reviewing and verifying payment request


• Reconciling accounts and ensuring that all payments are made accurately and on time


• Communicate with vendors and suppliers


• Resolve any payment issues or discrepancies


• Assist month-end close and year-end close

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred with strong communication skills as you will be working with multiple locations


• Candidates must have at least two years of Accounts Payable experience and some GL accounting experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
