RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Middletown, NJ that is seeking a Cloud RAN Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cloud RAN Native Infrastructure solutions and a strong background in routers, MSN, load balancing, and performance metrics. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and validate the Cloud RAN network infrastructure solution platform


• Ensure optimal performance of routers, MSN, and load balancing systems


• Conduct performance testing for both control and user planes


• Utilize Access and Mobility Functions (AMF) and Session Management Functions (SMF) for 5G standalone technologies to enhance network capabilities


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network performance and reliability


• Document test results and provide detailed reports to the development team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience with Ericsson Cloud RAN Native Infrastructure solution (CNIS)


• Experience with 5G standalone technologies, including AMF and SMF


• Strong knowledge of routers, MSN, load balancing, and performance metrics


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
