Job Description:

Apartment Maintenance person wanted for an 80 unit complex.  Light electrical repairs on appliances, circuits, outlets. Trouble shooting and repairing minor appliances. Light plubming work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fixtures.  Light painting of interior and exterior surfaces. Light carpentry as in fitting doors, freeing windows and replacing shelves.  Work as needed to prepare an unit for occupancy.  Be aware of water, gas, electrical meter cutoffs and sewer clean outs.   Assist with grounds and extermination work when required. Help maintain the shop, storage and maintenance area. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as  locking doors after operating hours. Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Review work orders for accuracy and timeliness.  Perform scheduled maintenance as required.

Tools not required. Experience with yardi software or similar apartment maintenance software, use of e-mail and web browsers not required but encouraged.

Salary based on experience.  Benefits after 90 days probation include rent free unit, health, dental, vision, 401k salary match up to 4%, AD&D coverage, long and short term disability.
