Under general supervision, deliver speech language pathology and/or audiology services through evaluation of patients with disorders of articulation, voice, fluency, language, swallowing and cognition; identify and evaluate hearing impairment, recommend hearing aids, provide aural rehabilitation, needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of speech language pathology/audiology.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Audiology or a related field, is required.
Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and/or Audiologist with the State of Maryland is required.
Current CPR certification is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of speech/hearing mechanisms, assessment and therapeutic materials, neuroanatomy, physiology, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, speech and language disorders, guiding and diagnosing video swallow studies, diagnostic and therapy materials needed for evaluation
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient populations(s) served. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
